A thoughtful, clinically grounded place to bring what is real.

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating the pressures, relationships, and transitions that shape a life. You may be coming to therapy because work is demanding, family roles are shifting, a relationship needs care, or the usual ways of managing no longer offer enough clarity or relief.

You may be carrying significant responsibility, facing a difficult decision, trying to make sense of recurring patterns, or living with the private strain of holding many things together. Therapy offers a place to pause, look beneath the surface, and consider a more intentional way forward.

My work is thoughtful, tailored, and grounded in clinical depth. Together, we make space to understand what is happening in its full context—not only the immediate problem, but the relationships, expectations, history, and patterns that may be shaping it.

The goal is not a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all formula. It is greater clarity, more useful ways of responding, and changes that feel both meaningful and sustainable in the life you are actually living.

A THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP BUILT ON TRUST

Good therapy begins with careful listening - not only to what is happening, but to what it means in the context of your life, relationships, and experiences.

I bring warmth, openness, and careful attention to the therapeutic relationship. You do not need to arrive with the right words, a perfectly formed goal, or an explanation for everything. We begin with what feels true now.

My approach is integrative, relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I draw on evidence-informed methods while remaining responsive to the person, couple, or family in front of me. The work is practical as well as reflective: building insight, strengthening communication, and creating options for responding differently when it matters most.

Clinical expertise matters. So do trust, judgment, and a therapeutic space where complexity can be met without oversimplification.

QUALIFICATIONS

Clinical depth, informed by experience.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Ontario. My work is informed by advanced training in relational, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and systems-oriented approaches to therapy.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from McGill University and a Master of Social Work, magna cum laude, from the University of Windsor. My clinical career has included nearly two decades of work in outpatient mental-health settings, supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of concerns.

For nearly two decades, I worked in outpatient mental-health programs at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest mental-health and addictions teaching hospital. My work there included supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating mood and anxiety concerns, trauma, emotional dysregulation, relationship stress, and co-occurring challenges.

I also spent more than 10 years as an adjunct lecturer with the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and continue to supervise graduate-level clinical interns. These roles have strengthened the clinical judgment, teaching, and careful attention to context that I bring to each therapeutic relationship.

BEYOND THE THERAPY ROOM

A therapeutic relationship should feel both professional and human.

I bring both professional experience and a grounded appreciation for the fact that life rarely unfolds in neat, predictable ways. Like many people, I have navigated meaningful transitions, family responsibilities, uncertainty, loss, and the ongoing work of making sense of what matters.

Those experiences do not make me the authority on your life. They do, however, deepen my respect for the courage it can take to ask for support—and for the complexity people often carry privately.

Outside my practice, I am a mother, a born and raised New Yorker, a former Torontonian, and a current resident of Florida’s Gulf Coast. I value time with family, a strong cup of coffee, thoughtful conversation, and the restorative perspective that comes from being near the water.
